I think you 'd have better luck if you posted your questions to, for instance, the Ratcliff forum, as your questions don't pertain to war info but family data. You would find what you're looking for using usual research techniques. Find out where the unit drew it s members from , and start there. Look at the 1840, 1850 and 1860 federal census.... Visit the roots.web site for the county to see what they offer as lookups , post your queries on the county forum. This would give you a start .
