Understanding Company Muster Rolls
Posted by: Diane Klinedinst (ID *****5435) Date: January 01, 2014 at 08:26:19

Can anyone explain what "where credited" means on the Muster Rolls? I sent away for my GG/Grandfather Enlistment records listed under "where credited" in the muster & "remarks" under company descriptive book is a totally different county than where he was living at the time? Any explanation?
