to break down the possibilities, here are the service records;
K L E I N , A N D R E A S . — Age, 21 years. Enlisted at New York city, to serve tbree years, and mustered in as private, Co. F, August 10, 1861; deserted, August 31,1861.

KLEIN, ANDREW.—Age, 28 years. Enlisted, October 1,1861, at
Utica, N. Y.; mustered in as private, Go. M,, November 18,1861, to serve three years; discharged for disability, December 5,1862,at Fairfax Seminary General Hospital, Va.

KLEIN, CHARLES ANDREW.— Age, 38 years. Enlisted,
August 5, 1862, at Catskill, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. F , August 22, 1862; wounded in action, July 2, 1863, at Gettysburg, Pa.; transferred to Ninety-sixth Company, Second Battalion, Veteran Reserve Corps, no date; discharged, August 21,1865, at Hick's Hospital, Baltimore, Md.
