Thank you very much. The picture of Bassett's pistol and the Blunt & Syms is very similar. Although the butt of Bassett's pistol is shorter and not as flared as the Blunt & Syms, and the barrel is much longer, it does raise the possibility that the NY firm is the manufacturer.
