Looking for more records on PVT George S. or W. Smothers of Parker Co. TX who was last found in the hospital in LA. He never returned from the War. Did he die in a later battle or did he die in the hospital? Not married, parents dead, his brother John Smothers was captured in LA, but returned to Parker Co. I have his CW service records.
