After much searching, I was able to locate one photo of men from the TX 8 Cavalry. A pic of 5 men, 4 of whom are identified as being in Company C. Not a Hoerster in the bunch, but you might like seeing the military/civilian outfits they were wearing. Possibly they were buddies of your Fritz. If you'd like a copy of the photo I can send it.

Source; Military Images Magazine, Vol. VII,page 1/4. This was the July/August 1985 issue. With a lot of luck, you might eventually find the issue listed for sale on Ebay.
