My ancestor Micajah Blackwell was in Company C perhaps they new each other. Pvt. Blackwell was captured when the regiment retreated in July of 1863. By December it was claimed that he had made his escape and had not returned. I did this by not only checking his CMSR but also the company Histories and Regimental ones as well it should all be on Fold3 if you do not have an account perhaps someone on here will look it up for you. I would but I no longer have an account also get in contact with the regiments webpage a group of descendants are posted on there including myself I received some help from the owners but I never actualy found Micajah listed on any rolls with any prisons.
