Forgotten Terry's Texas Rangers in Kentucky

Briefly, I have become aware of two of Terry's Texas Rangers who were killed in an ambush in Kentucky, near the Tennessee state line, during the War of 1861-1865. I was told they are buried together in one grave in a farmer's field, and the grave is marked. I am just now starting an effort to learn all I can about this, in order to see if the Texas Division, Sons of Confederate Veterans, might be able to eventually disinter these two, transport their bodies back to Texas and have them reinterred in the Texas State Cemetery, Austin. First, I am looking for anything I can find on this. If anyone reading this has any information, please let me know. I would very much appreciate it.
