Residence: Snyder County, Pa.
Remarks: discharged on Surgeon's Certificate of Disability, Jan. 12, 1865. Re-enlisted 1-1-1864 at Blaine's X Rds.

If you have his Compiled Military Service Record from the National Archives, that should indicate whether or not he was a POW, where he was captured, etc.
