Ken --

There are two men by the same name in this regiment, and it would be helpful to distinguish between U.S. and C.S. commands as there was a 12th Kentucky Cavalry in both armies. The Thomas Woods in Co. "E" was captured at Marion VA, but he was born about 1844. The other Thomas Woods was born in Macon County TN and age 18 when discharged in 1865, Aug. 23, 1865.

Do you already have a set of service file copies for this man?
