From "Roster of Soldiers of the State of Ohio";
George W. Reed, age 27, residence not listed, enlisted on 10-23-62 as a private. On 1-15-63 he was mustered into Ohio 10th Cavalry, Company K. Mustered out at Lexington, NC on 7-24-65.
Also of interest, is listed George W. Reed, 18, enlisted on 1-17-64 as a private in Company E, OHIO 10th Cavalry. He mustered out on the same day , same location. Possibly a cousin or nephew?
