N.Y.V. 34th Regiment, Co. A
I'm searching for the cemetery location where the remains of PVT. John Murphy would be buried. He was killed at the Battle of Antietam. What I do know is that his remains were taken to his hometown of West Troy, NY and that there was a funeral procession at St. Patrick's Church. He had a brother named Peter of whom inherited his pension/land in 1882. ANY information would be welcomed.
Thank you.
