I found an obit for a supposed black CSA veteran. Want a copy?
I have discovered, in the New York Times newspaper, an obit for a black man who was murdered in Texas along with his son. This black man was supposed to have been a Confederate soldier.
His name was Henson Williams and he was murdered in June of 1900.
I cannot verify his service for the CSA, nor do I care one way or the other, but if anyone out there is interested I will be happy to e-mail you a copy of this obit.
Bob
