Eli Coggins& James C. Coggins of 6th Ms. Infantry
I'm looking for info on the brothers, James and Eli Coggins. They joined Company A of the 6th Ms. Infantry in 1861. Eli was killed and buried at Canton, Ms. in 1862. James was captured in Alabama and later parolled. He received a pension and died in Bradley County, Arkansas. Does anyone have info on their war records or on the unit they served in???
