I have not yet demonstrated any link to the Stoke Gabriel family although geographically, the two places are so close that it would be odd if there wasn't a link if we can get far enough back. My ancestor is James Churchward, the father of Margaret Churchward, who was b. 1823 in Buckfastleigh. She married James Floyd in 1845. Thanks to the hard work and kindness of Brian Churchward, I have a lot of information about this side of the family but am always keen to learn more, or help in any way if I can.
