Looking for any information on William CHURCHMAN b. 29 July 1819 in Indiana. He married Martha AUGUSTINE in June 1844 in Washington County, Iowa. They moved to Sonoma County, California in about 1853. They lived in the cities of Petaluma and Santa Rosa. William served as Sonoma County Judge 1855-1862. Children: Martha Jane, Nancy A., Weanah A. (Millie), Mary, William, John, Elizabeth and Maggie. I have not been able to find where William was born in Indiana or who his parents were. Could he possibly be connected with the Churchman's listed in the 1820 Census in Preble County, Ohio? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
