Ted,Rootsweb.com is another site that offers plenty of entries On Electa. I can't be any help for docs because I'm a novice at this, spending past year compiling about 20 binders of web data, plus a little travel to Minn. & Wisc. for searches. Im westcoaster. too far removed from Wethersfield, north to Vermont where JOsiah Churchill and descendants (at least mine - and Electa's) migrated to. But, insofar as documentation, you would have to ask the contributors who, usually, are named under "source" in the LDS. Rootsweb contributors are also named and often you can find their E-mail addresses. Sometime in the next year I will be going to New England for personal research. Meanwhile, I just keep hitting the web. Some entries are repeated so many times by different contributors, I feel they have substance (tho I take nothing for granted)Some entries in rootsweb, quote sources, some qote many sources. Because I view every entry I find from any and every site I can find, I spot many obvious errors. But, as this stage I don't have time to seek proof, just collect loads of data, although I try to weed out the obvious miscuesj. There are folks out there that have spent years on research and respond to the bulletin boards. But, don't know how professsional they are. I do know many mistakes are picked up & repeated by contributors. In short, I beleive it is an exhaustive, time consumer and sometimes frustrating pursuit. But, researching the Churchill lines your not going to run short of intenet sites or data. It's loaded. Proof? That's a study in itself. Good luck, dwc.
