Thanks for your message. Yes, I am related somewhat.
James Bryan Churchill and Sarah Hall were my great, great, grandparents. Their daughter, Mary Estelle Churchill, married George O. Jones of Ridgeway, Va. They had many children and played a large part in establishing and growing this area.
Any info on Sarah Hall or any of the other wives? All I have are names, birth, death, and marriage dates. Any anecdotal info? religion, political persuasion, any spicy stories or black sheep?
We are currently writing for the Henry Co Heritage book to be published later this year and I wanted to include this branch of the family. The local history only lists them as coming from NC. Most of the historical info is about the Jones in this area.
