Researching ggrandmother Sarah Churchill, b. in Eng. had son James in l866 in Nfld. Family history says James's father went down with ship between Nova Scotia and Nfld. when Sarah pregnant with James. Vital Stats has James's father as being unknown, possibly illegitimate? James Gillott is name he went under. Sarah married a Nfld. Gillott after birth? Any info would be appreciated.
