**so you can see there are changes in places of birth for William and Elizabeth's parents from census to census but that is quite common in census records - all depended on who gave the info I suppose

I tried to find the family in 1870 but have had no luck yet. They should be in IA then unless they moved to NE soon after birth of George.
I think you can assume that Elizabeth and William M. died in Thurston Co. WA
The death index only shows deaths from 1940 onward so I did not find them listed.
I found a marriage for a Laura L. Churchill and Alonzo Jackson April 9, 1885 Lewis Co. WA
Thurston Co. was not included in this index so I did not find marriage for George and Mary.
I also found death record of Charles Churchill, son of William and Elizabeth
Charles CHURCHILL died Oct. 28, 1895, age 19, of typhoid fever. Born NE, occupation: farmer, lived Tenino, Thurston Co., father William Churchill
His mother's name is not shown and most others are on the page so I wonder if it is because she had died before him?
The death register I found him in is from 1891-1907
I also found birth records for:
Ruth McClellan Churchill born June 17, 1895, Thurston
Father: George Churchill
Mother: Ollie McClellan
I don't know why Dewey, Edith and Thomas are not listed as the register is for 1891-1907
I found World War 1 draft registration card for Dewey and he is listed as Charles Dewey Churchill

I'm confused with Elizabeth Bidwell. Do you know if she had been married before marrying William Churchill? I found an Elizabeth of right age in 1860. She is age 20 , living with Mathew Bidwell age 38, Mary age 15, Lucinda age 8, Sarah age 3, John age 2 and Joseph age 2 months. I thought Mathew was likely her father so looked for them in 1850.
I found Mathew age 26, Margaret age 22 and Mary age 4 but no Elizabeth.So then I thought perhaps Elizabeth of 1860 was his wife (2nd wife?)
I couldn't find Mathew in 1870 to see who he was married to. I did find Sarah age 14 now, working as a domestic servant in Tuscarawas Co. I don't know where the rest of them were at that time?
I could not find any other Elizabeth Bidwell to fit for age and birth place.
I'm sorry I couldn't find more for you.
