Freda was born April 5, 1901 in England and died May of 1981 in Greenwich, CT. Apparently she severed ties with her family because they didn't approve of the man she wanted to marry. She came to the U.S. and married John Oakshott. Family lore states that she was a niece of Sir Winston Churchill, although I have no way of knowing if this is true. Any help is greatly appreciated.
