Just saw your posting on the Genforum.

My wife, Marilyn's gggg-grandparents were John Dawkins and Nancy Churchill.

According to International Genealogical Records on file at the LDS Family Centers, Nancy Ann Churchill was born in VA in 1728, and was the daughter of Simon Churchill and Dorcas Starks. Simon Churchill was born in Richmond, VA ca 1702.

John Dawkins was the son of John Dawkins and Frances (last name unknown.); he was born in Prince William Co., VA 1726-28.

Dorcas Starks's parents were James Starks and Eleanor Todd; they were married ca 1705 in Richmond, VA. James Starks was born ca 1680 in Richmond, VA.

Nancy Ann Churchill married John Dawkins ca 1736 in Berkley Co., WVA. Their children were:

John, b. 1760 in WVA
Frances Sarah, b. ca 1761 in WVA
Dorcas, b. 1763 in WVA
Thomas, b. ca 1764 in WVA
George, b. ca 1770 in WVA
Nancy, b. ca 1774 in WVA
William, b. ca 1778 in WVA

Have additional information on Dorcas Dawkins' line of descent if you are interested.
