Yes - I was researching Thomas McKenney who m. Polly Cawley on 8 Aug 1831 in Hardin County, Kentucky. In the process of looking at census and other documents in Hardin County I came across Eliza McKenney. At first I thought perhaps Thomas was related to her but I've found nothing at all to indicate that they were related.
Actually he would have been related to James G. McKenney who was Eliza's second husband. They were in Fayette County; I assume that Eliza moved to Hardin County after his death in order to be closer to her family (the Churchills).
That is what I meant by "Eliza Ann (Churchill) McKenney "was not of the family I was researching".
