In doing my family genealogy I can't get past who the parents were of my ancestor Mary Churchill (b. 1689). I know her father was Eleazer Churchill (b. 1652) but get conflicting reports as to who her mother was. It seems like a lot of people have either accepted Mary Bryant or Mary Doty as her mother. I believe I've read that Eleazer was married twice and Mary Doty was his second wife (and mother to my Mary Churchill), but if this is true, then who are Mary Doty's parents? I understand that Edward Doty of the Mayflower had a daughter named Mary but she was married only once, to Samuel Hatch. Who is this Mary Doty that Eleazer was married to??? If anyone has any information on this I would greatly appreciate help.
