These are from the Microfilm containing Deeds of Fishkill, Dutchess County, NY. Reference the will of Edward Churchill, dated 13 April, 1757: "...I leave to my son John all my real estate during his life, and then to his sons, Joseph and Edward..." ________________________________________ Liber G.P 24, May 8, 1739 Grantors: Mary Teller, widdow, Jacob Goelet, Abraham Van Vike (All of NYC)and David Provost (late of NYC), Executors of last will and testament of Andreas Teller dec. (of NYC), will drawn Feb 15th, 1730 Grantee: Edward Churchill, pipemaker, of Flushing, Queens Co., L.I. Conveyed - 200 acres Consideration - 160 pounds Land situated at ye Fishkills, running to the line of Gulian Ver Planck, southerly to Joshua Griffin's, westerly to lands of Mrs. Teller, easterly to Peter Outwater. In Fee Simple. Witnesses - Jos. Sackett Jun., Sam. Hazard _________________________________ Liber G. P. 248, Jan 5th, 1775 Joseph Churchel, farmer of Rombout Precinct Edward Churchel, blacksmith of Rombout Precinct Grandchildren and heirs of the late Edward Churchill of said Precinct (Will drawn Apr. 13, 1757) Conveyed land in Rombout (equally inherited) in partition (one half) Joseph's share proving more valuable, he paid Edward 70 pounds. Witnesses - Abram Schenck, John Churchill, Jun. _________________________________ Liber G. P. 248, Jan. 5, 1775 Edward Churchil of Rombout, blacksmith Joseph Churchil of Rombout, farmer Conveyed one half share in land inherited by John Churchil, from his father, Edward Churchill and entailed to the grandsons. Partition Deed Title granted by Andreas Teller to Edward Churchil Land - the farm of the late Edward Churchil, lying in Rumbout Witnesses - Abraham Schenck, John Churchill, Junior _________________________________ Liber M. P. 413, Aug 19, 1795 Grantor - Peter Mesler, gentleman of Dutchess Co. Grantee - Benj. Roe, farmer of Dutchess Co. Conveyed a farm which was conveyed by will from Edward Churchill to his sons Edward and Joseph Churchill and divided between them, this land being Edward Churchill's share, and was sold to satisfy a mortgage in default.
