My great-grandfather was Thomas Franklin Church. He was born on the 4th of December, 1828, somewhere in Tennessee. On the 1880 census in Greene County Arkansas, he said both of his parents were born in North Carolina. He married Mary Ann Sanders in Obion County Tennessee on the 11th of September, 1853. They lived in Kentucky where most of their children were born.
