you have two names that are important to me. Martha Chumley
my greatgrandmother was martha lola chumley the first white child born in bastrop county TX. The other is Richard Chumley who i believe is the namesake of Sir Richard Chumleigh, who married the daughter of Sir Robert Abell III and Lady Jane Sutton, a Plantagenet descendant in 1523.
My ggm was the daughter of Wm A chumley of Anniston Alabama and Lou Addie Trout, Wm's father was Joseph B. chumley and his mother was Nancy Madora Dickson, Joseph B,s other children were Briggs, Cleveland, and Nell, who became a nun,
her mother was French. Joseph B. was married 5 times and is buried in OK, Wm. and Lola are buried in Waco, TX.
Joseph B's father was Wm Y son of Young WM Chumley.
