This message is to point out that another researcher has disputed some of the information I posted in the previous message. As I was not the one who came up with the information I posted, I am not in a position to tell which account is correct. I guess it just goes to show: if you want to be sure of your information, you have to check it out yourself. Although the web is a great way to obtain information, it is also a great way to propagate incorrect information, so you have to be careful.

The alternative account is as follows:

16. Johannes KREUSSLER/CHRISTLER, born 1635 Guntersblum, Germany, died October 1686 Guntersblum, Germany, married (3rd) Anna Maria SYLWY 13 Jul 1669 in Guntersblum, Germany.

32. Leonard KREUSSLER/CHRISTLER was a taylor and Gemeinsmann, the latter at Herrnsheim.

I'd give credit to the researcher who pointed this out, but I have not yet asked if she wanted her name mentioned. The sources she cited for the information on Johannes (I did not include all the information above) were:
1. Early Eighteenth Century Palatine Emigration, by Knittle.
2. Burhans Genealogy, by Samuel Burhans, Jr.
3. Chrysler-Forker and Allied Families.

She did not cite any source for the information on Leonard, and the person who provided the earlier information did not cite any sources either.

I hope this helps. I'm still not sure how I will handle this discrepancy in by database.
