Jodi, I have no information on your James Crysler, but I can tell you the ancestor would be Hieronymous Chrysler, U.E., born 3 May 1768 in Schoharie, NY, died 25 October 1859 in Williamsburg (now Kingston), ON. Hieronymous had 3 sons that we know of, John Geronimous (my line), Philip, who died young, and Peter. I have no information at all on Peter, except that he was born in 1808. It could be that your James is a descendant of Peter.
