Chrobak in Germany, March 11 2001

Hi!

I just found this website via google. I'd like to help you to find other families that carry the name Chrobak. Since I am not old enough to know all about my family, I can tell that my Grandfather (Eduard Chrobak) was born in Wilkopole (maybe wrong spelling) in 1925 and had a brother (born 1920) called Michel. Wilkopole (Area Lemberg) was Ukraine these days and belongs to Poland today, I think! Their father was Franz Chrobak.
Franz was born near to the Austrian borders, but I don't know exactly where and when.
Michel and Eduard came to Brandenburg/Germany, and as long as I knew them, they spend their life in a town called "Premnitz". Premnitz has about 10.000 inhabitants and is circa 20 km north to the city Brandenburg.
Eduard had one son with Melitta, that's Horst Chrobak. Horst is married and I am the result of that marriage. Finally I have a brother Michael.
Maybe I can find it out, since my Grandma is alive and has some old documents, where I can maybe reveal some more information.

Please let me know, if I can help to find out more.

tc
