Hi, I hope someone is able to help. My grandfather, Alexander Erskine Alexander, owned race horses in Ireland at the end of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century. They were raced at The Curragh in Co. Kildare. I understand grandfather entered as an owner in these races under the name Mr. Christy although it may have been Captain Christy (spelling may have been Christie). I am unable to trace a relationship to a Christy family - grandfather was from the Ballyeaston area of Co. Antrim and he lived in Belfast when he was a young man.
