Unfortunately early vital records of Londonderry, N.H. were lost. This is unfortunate because many Ulster Scot's from Northern Ireland who came over in 1718 settled here. I am not sure if there is a will for Jesse (this would be in Grafton, Vermont or the county). My sources are many but mostly from a Genealogy of Jesse Christy (1672-1739) by Donald M. Christie whom I was fortunate to have corresponded with before he wrote his book above in September of 1991. He has sinced passed away. You may be interested in what he said in this genealogy of Jesse, besides what I have given you:
According to the New Boston historian, Cogswell, Jesse Christie was the first male child born in New Boston. He learned the trade of blacksmith and operated his craft for many years on Cochran Hill. In October of 1801 he purchased a place in Grafton, Vermont, moved there in 1802 and practiced his trade until a few years before his death in 1841. Following the death of hid second wife, Mary Ann, he moved to the village area of Grafton, where he lived his last years with his daughter, Margaret Sherwin, in a house still in good repair and containing many items of furniture which Jesse brought with him from New Boston. I (author Donald Christie) had the pleasure of visting at this house, now the summer home of Dorothy Cambridge Miller, a great-great, granddaughter of Jesse & Mary Ann (Cochran) Christie. I was shown a large book of sermons presented in 1758 to Jesse's father George by his mother, Mary Gilmore Christie. My grandmother was a descendant of Jesse & (Aiken) Christy, his first wife.
