Does anyone know anything about John Harrison Christy who -m- Aurlia (sic) Ann Roberts, g/d of John & Ann Mallory Patton ( the mother - Lucinda ) not sure just when they moved to Athens, Georgia, they lived where the University
of Georgia is today. John H CHRISTY ran a newspaper, the first in Athens. I think most of their children were born,there his reason, the time period was just before the CSA, and his news did not fit the time, so they moved back to NC, The Roberts ( Joahua) and Pattons were in Asheville, NC John or maybe their went to Cherokee and started another newspaper. I am researching my Patton & Mallory family and Lucinda Patton Roberts is their daughter.
