Thomas Christy, born 1825-1835 in OH and d. 189?, m. Jemima Hughs (1822-1890)in Gallia Co., OH. They are my gg-grandparents, and Thomas is my brick wall. He & Jemima appear on 1860 thru 1880 Cabell Co. Va(WVa) census records. ON the 1850 Mason Co.,Va census, a Samuel and Eliza Christy appear with several
sons, including Abraham. Thomas is also listed in the household as 22, which would make him too young to be a son of Samuel who was 34 in 1850.

Thomas & Jemima Christy had 3 sons: Jerome, Jefferson, and James Wm. (my g-grandfather).

Any ideas or direction would be appreciated.

Mary
