Have you been able to find any information about ancestors of Howard Chandler Christy? My family lore also says that we are related to him, but haven't been able to find much about him except that his father was Francis Marion Christy and Howard was born in OH.

I descend from Robert Christy > George > Samuel > Cassandria Laurinda Christy Goodall. Most of my info is from Samuel on down. Samuel was born in 1825 in Cadiz, Harrison Co., OH. They went to Keokuk, IA abt. 1852 and then to Clay Co., NE in 1873.
