I have a Samuel CHRISTY, b. 11-25-1825 in Cadiz, OH; d. 8-12-1912 in Long Beach, CA. He was married to Margaret Ann Harper and they had 5 living children when he died: G.F. Christy, S.W. Christy, T.H. Christy, Laurinda Christy Goodall (my 2nd great grandmother), and Maggie Christy Cook. Anything here sound familiar?
