Hi Neil, I'm currenty researching the Christy families of Butler Co, PA (including Cherry Twp). I have a copy of a c. 1935 genealogy that outlines the early generations of the descendents of Andrew Christy (John Sr, James and Ann) who were the first Christy's in that area. I'm willing to share what I have.
If you give me the date of birth for your David W. Christy, perhaps I already have something on him.
