Florence I'm sorry for the delay in replying but I have only recently become interested in researching our family trees and so I haven't a lot of information as yet. My husbands' father was called Hugh A Christy and his Grandfather was called Daniel. As yet I can't connect Ann Christy( your great grandmother) but I do know that a Thomas and Anne Christy were living here in Pullateebee in 1851 (from the Griffiths Valuation records for that year).
Lisdoo and Pullateebee are less than a mile apart so I'm sure there must be a connection. I will be in touch if I find out any further infromation.
