Eithna - that would be soooo fantastic, if true!! All I know about Ann Christy (other than the fact she was my great grandmother) is what I've found from various online records.
Ann married Hugh KELLY and had at least three children. James born 1865. Maryann (my grandmother) born 1866 and Elizabeth born 1869. Ann died in 1869 so it's a good guess that it was post partum complications. It's possible Hugh may have remarried or that the children were raised by either set of grandparents. There were three Kellys living near Glenmornan (Maggie, Mick and Joe/John?) who I think may have been descendants of James. The births of James and Maryann were registered in Donamanna, but Eliz. is just "Co. Tyrone". Maryann was living in Lisdoo, when she married Joseph Farrell 1888. The parents of Ann were Thomas Christy and Ann Devine. If any of this data matches some your ancestors I would be delighted. Florence
