Ann Christy was the daughter of Andrew Christy who settled in Westmoreland County, PA. Ann and one brother moved to Butler County while the other one remained in the Westmoreland area. Without looking at all of my material, I believe John Christy was the one that moved to Butler County and had land adjacent to John Campbell and his wife, Ann Christy. There were numerous intermarriages between these two families. andrew spent time in Philadelphia and Boston visiting family. The approximate birthdate for Ann was 1748 in Ulster, Northern Ireland and died in 1832. Will look up more information for you if you want it.
