My g.g.g.grandmother escaped the "Trail of Tears" and married a Christy in Michigan. The Christy/Christie line is often one in the same. I am experiencing both spellings between siblings and is quite frustrating. I have been visiting the Cherokee Nation website learning more about the migration. Do you have any idea where we could a roster before and after the migration to help us both out??
