STILL searching for my great grandfather JOHN HENRY CHRISTMAN (JHC)- dob 12-10-1846 possibly NYC. He left Brooklyn in 1873 for Arkansas. His parents (names still unknown) are buried in NYC as JHC visited their graves in Dec. 1884, and also visited his brother Philip Christman in Flatbush, his Aunt Elizabeth Christman at her residence / bakery at 268 E. Third St. NYC (all from his diary). His father was from the Black Forest area of Germany (Baden-Wurrtemburg). Five years later and I am still searching for him and parents.
