I am researching the Christman family. I have found in a 1870 census that my g-g-grandfather L. Philip Christman was from France as well as his wife Christina. They raised their family in a German Communal town, Bethel, MO around the mid 1800's. All 6 children were born in MO. My g-grandfather was Frederick and his daughter Ada Blanche was my grandmother. She married Harve E. Cress from Bloomington, MO. I would be delighted with any ties.
