Mrs. MYRDIE CHRISTESSON
Lubbock: Services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday in the W. W. Rix Chapel for Mrs. MYRDIE FAY CHRISTESSON, 52. Burial is in Lubbock Cemetery. She died 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Methodist Hospital from injuries suffered less than an hour earlier in a head-on collision of two cars three miles east of Lubbock.
Mrs. Christesson, who had been employed by the Texas Highway Department, had lived in the Lubbock area for 26 years. She came here from Colorado City. She resided at Buffalo Springs Lake near Lubbock.
Survivors include her husband, CHRIS CHRISTESSON, a son TOM CHRISTESSON of the home; four daughters, Mrs. WILLEN VOIGHT of Lubbock, Mrs. ANITA RAY of New Braunfels, Mrs. KAY WHEELER of Lubbock and Mrs. BOBBIE FITE of Carlisle; three brothers, JOE INESS of Paris, J. D. INESS of Monahans and SHERMAN INESS of Grand Falls and six grandchildren.
