I have information that my husband's grandmother and some of her siblings came from Misselwitz, Germany which may be in or near Posen, Germany to Roselle, Illinois.
Ellis Island records show that three of the children came to the Roselle area and that they were to come to a
MR. JOSEPH CHRISTENSEN.

JULIA ZIMMER married EDWARD KOESTER - this information from an elderly aunt that has since passed away. No other information on this family.
FRED ZIMMER b. 1889 d. 1950 buried in Ridgewood cemetary, Chicago, Illinois. married Hedwig Polzin. children: Robert, Eleanor, Bernhardt and Louise.
BERTHA ZIMMER b. September 17, 1890 in Germany d. October, 1975 in Cook County, Illinois. Bertha married WILLIAM SCHOENBERG,b. October 21, 1879 in Argentina d. August, 1966. He was a Representative for the Federation of Labor and I am told had quite a nice job. They had one son WILLIAM b. November 26, 1909 d. April 13, 1995.

MARY ZIMMER married OTTO BLANK/BLANCK I have no other information on the Blank family. This is also information from Auntie Annie,daughter of EMILIE ZIMMER-MONHARDT.
Posen, Germany has had several map changes and my problem is that Posen is an entire area as well as a town. I am trying to pinpoint an actual town and also find the mothers name. Any and all help will be gratefully acknowledged.
