Sundrea, Susan, Kelly, I have made a breakthrough on the Chrisman and Dunn family lines. Please send me your most recent email addresses and I will forward you the info (too much to list in this forum).

About a month ago, my father died and while going through his files, I found a letter from his cousin in California entitled "Grandma". In it, she described her grandmother, Mahala Adeline Dunn Chrisman, and all the relatives. She also described how the families had moved from Virginia to Arkansas and eventually to California. It also confirmed that Henry Tyler and Gabriel Chrisman were indeed brothers of Josiah (my great-grandfather).

So, let me know if you're still interested. The letter contained enough info to trace the extended Chrisman and Dunn families, along with their relationship to the Parkers who brought them to California via wagon train (twice). I'm still in the process of scanning it with OCR software and then cleaning it up. The genealogy report is ready and has all the new data captured in it.

Finally a breakthrough!
