Is there anyone out there who has an Egbert Husted born about 1800-1804 in NY in your geneology anywhere. He was the father of our Leander Husted who was born in Ohio in 1838-1841. Leander is buried at Ft. Leavenworth Military Cemetery at Leavenworth, Ks. Leander's wife Catherine A. Long is buried at East Mt. Zion Cemetery near LaCygne, Ks. Egbert's wife's name was Melinda Symmes and she is buried at Richland, Ohio. Leander was the father of my husband's grandfather, Peter Edward Husted who was born in Ohio about 1865 and married Martha Ellen Owens and both of them are buried at East Mt. Zion, also. I know that this is correct from Peter to Leander and feel 99% sure of Egbert, but can get no further than this. I would appreciate any help I can get.
