According to the Charlesbourg registers:
(translation from the French)
The 24th of the month of December in the year 1721 was buried in the cemetery of this parish Michel Chretien 82 years old who died the 22nd of said month after having received all the sacraments. Were witnesses at his burial Jean Garneau and George Alard.
