My sister-in-law and I have just started our husbands (Franche dit Laframboise) tree, and I can give you what we have found so far. If you have any missing data to add to our information please do.
Francois-Xavier Chretien’s first wife was Margarite Montreiul. They were married in St. Zotique De Soulanges, Que. Date so far unknown.
We have his parents as Etienne and Suzanne Ekemberg. I’m guessing Francois-Xavier is where the name changed to Chretien
Francois-Xavier and Militine also had three other children: Emma, Fidelia and Xavier ( who married a Sophie Carriere in St. Luc’s Church. We’re not sure if this is St. Luc in Curran, Ont. or St. Zotique De Soulanges, Que.
Alphonsine Ekemberg/ Chretien/Laframboise - My mother-in-law told me that she is supposed to be buried in Hull, Que.
I hope this is not duplicate info for you, but we just started ourselves.
