Hi!
Have done extensive research on our Chretien/Christian line, back to Michel Chretien. In the process, have also organized the descendants of Vincent Chretien. Your Louis is a descendant of the latter. Our records show the following:

Alexis Chretien, son of Alexis and Marie-Catherine Gerbeau-Bellegarde, married on 6/Feb/1815 at St.-Joseph-de-Soulanges to
Catherine Barcier, daughter of Pierre and
Madeleine Prieur. They had 10 known children, among them Louis born 8/Apr/1826 at St.-Anicet, Huntingdon, Dundee.
He married #1 around 1850 at Soulanges, comte Soulanges to Sophie Plante. Nothing more known about her so far.
Wife #2 20/Aug/1861 St-Anicet, Huntingdon
Lucie Durocher dit Courtemanche
Hyacinthe & Henriette Quesnel

Show 6 children for this second marriage, three of them married.
The brothers Christian
George & Chris
